09-09-2007, 7th years into my baptism

09-09-2007, yes, my 7th year anniversary for my water baptism... My every first step into public proclamation of my faith in Jesus.

Normally, I would pay attention to this 3 special day, 14-06, 09-09, and last but definitely not the least, 16-12... When these 3 days draw close, I will want to celebrate it... This year my 09-09 just went by with no special arrangement... never mind...

I didn't asked for a baptism name during that day...

My baptism name, Peter actually came much later.. It came about as I was asking ChuKai for a name that can remind myself of God's work in my life, and a model that I can refer to. Peter. When I got this name from Chukai, I was actually quite reluctant. Too common... However, after sometime looking at Apostle Peter life, I see some similarity...

I mean, look at the description of Peter in the above paragraph... It is really me... I am Peter Neoh... I am really the Peter that impulsive, emotional, quick to speak, slow to think, quick to react without much thinking, very confident person (I got very good perception of own self), and tend to make bold statement, but the truth really is I am weak in my character and I tend to chicken off...

I want to make today Pastor Jeff preaching really a powerful and good one... Every sermon and preaching from pastor only become powerful and great when the receiver go and apply it in their life.

- My faith must go beyond my words. (Yes.. Talk less, do more... Everyone words I said, I must take ownership to make it come into reality in my life.)

- My faith must go beyond my feeling... (Yes not just emotional and passion about thing short while... Yes. Commitment is the key. And commitment, is, the ability to follow thru on the right decisions that I have made even when the feeling subsided.

- My faith must be live out. (We are all too well educated beyond our obedience. Meaning, we know hoe than what we fed,

2.5K for HDB flat rental

2.5K rental for a HDB flat... Meaning, 357.20 per head. Meaning 157.20 jump from what I paying now...

Either I been too blessed with for the last 4 years, or, the market is too crazy at the moment...

Will the property market clash in 2 weeks time? Then, all the new couples will be happy with lower price, all the PRs will be glad for the affordable rental. All the agents will have easier time to secure the deal.

When will it clashes?? Please happen in 1 months or 2 weeks time.

Getting Thing Done

Reading a book "Getting Thing Done - The Art of Stress-free Productivity".

The biggest challenge is to overcome the internal resistance toward something unfamiliar. In other more familiar term, going out of comfort zone.

Locked my hours for the next days. Let's see how I may keep it up. Changing for better always need persistence in carrying out the plan.

Reading news online. Not very concerned about Singapore local scene. Singapore is doing too well compare to my home country.

Scandal upon scandals;
Corruption upon corruptions;
Injustice upon injustices;
Stupidity upon stupidities;
Shortsightedness upon shortsightednesses;
Incompetent upon incompetents.

When will Malaysians see the light?

People of Malaysia, put on sack clothes and mourn, and express your utter grief for your nation..

What are the practical step I may get involved and contribute to my country in political realm? Am I doing my part? How to do my part?

Start from prayer. I will pray for my nation.

God when will you remove the ungodly from the place of authority? When are those corrupted officer brought down to their pits? Will you not raise up a just generation? Will you not help those people in Malaysia? Show the way to Churches to be involved in politics and to make great influences. Will you not set the godly to represent you?

You said in your words everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist had been established by God. Consequently, he who rebel against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

After 50 years of independence, we only witnessed an useless and impotent governance.

God, is this truly the government I must submit myself to? I don't think so. I believe in a just government that place godly principle as the foundation of their ruling. I will only acknowledge the boundaries and observed those unjust law & regulation for my own safety and interest, and bear with them for a little while, and soon, I will go against them by casting my vote to opposition parties for a better tomorrow... Grant us a clean Malaysia. Bring hope to Malaysian...
