Will Your Anchor Hold

Will Your Anchor Hold

[D] Will your anchor [G] hold in the [C] storms of [F] life,
When the [A7] clouds unfold their [E7] wings of [A7] strife?
When the [D] strong tides [A] lift, and the cables [F] strain,
Will your anchor [G] drift, or [A7] firm re[D]main?

Chorus:
We have an anchor that [G] keeps the [D] soul
steadfast and sure while the billows [A] roll;
Faste[D]ned to the rock which can[G]not move,
[D] Grounded firm and deep in the [A7] Saviour's [D] love.

Will your anchor hold in the straits of fear,
When the breakers roar and the reef is near?
While the surges rage, and the wild winds blow,
Shall the angry waves then your bark o'erflow?

Chorus

Will your anchor hold in the floods of death,
When the waters cold chill your latest breath?
On the rising tide you can never fail,
While your anchor holds within the veil.

Chorus

Will your eyes behold through the morning light,
The city of gold and the harbour bright?
Will you anchor safe by the heav'nly shore,
When life's stroms are past for evermore?

Chorus

Amen... May I anchor myself in Christ always.

Recall that HowJoo ask me about this blog, so, as promised, I am working on this now. =)

A bit broken today. Sorry to those who are running this morning. Maybe somehow just wanted to sleep extra long... It is quite unusual that I slept pass the 11am... Woke up and feeling like having a hang over... Funny.
