HAVE FAITH IN GOD

Another song that catch my attention in the midst of my work... Lovely song. Let me know if you like to have the MP3, I may email over.

HAVE FAITH IN GOD

Words and Music: Geoff Bullock

Verse 1:
Oh Lord you lead me
By the still waters
Quietly restoring my soul
You speak words of wisdom
The promise of glory
The power of the presence of God.

Chorus:
Have faith in God
Let your hope rest on the faith
He has placed in your heart
Never give up
Never let go of the faith
He has placed in your heart.

Verse 2:
Oh Lord you guide me
Through all the darkness
Turning my nights into day
And you’ll never leave me
Never forsake me
The power of the presence of God.

Chorus:
Have faith in God
Let your hope rest on the faith
He has placed in your heart
Never give up
Never let go of the faith
He has placed in your heart.

how's you? i think you are more busy than me... :p share some of your schedule in your blog le..

oh ya, i think why not we do this, we all share how we normally spend our weekday, working hours and non working hour.

and, we share specifically one interesting encounter (maybe not interesting, but something caught your attention, or it may seem interesting to you, but not to us.. ha ha), then, what we learn of that encounter...

how? shall we all do it? and let Sandy start the ball rolling!!

Yep, just received the song... Listening to it now as I am typing this... Somehow, it brings a sense of peace and strength... Shall share here an interesting thing that I realise... Hahaha... starting the ball rolling! ;)

Take this case for example, aren't songs amazing instruments of communication between us and GOD, as well as us and one another?

I mean, GOD is indeed so great... He has given us the WORD, prayer and it gets better, you can choose to sing your prayers/encouragements through a wide genre of music...

Praise and worship honours GOD and it is so powerful because it is one of the expressions of the love that GOD has covenanted between us and HIM...

HE in turn uses the songs to strengthen us in our spirits as well...

Especially when we are going through rough times, songs that expresses our faith and trust in GOD, or even our desire to cling on to HIS truth, will strengthen us within coz I believe that is when HE will come and fill us with all that we need to emerge victorious in the circumstance(s)...

I am so grateful at the beauty of GOD's great love for all of us... For everything that we do to give HIM the honour HE deserves, HE uses that to bless us back as well... E.g. a song that honours GOD, GOD uses that to minister to us as well...

Many a time, I'd imagine what heaven is like... Imagine the various creations of GOD all coming together into a grand big assembly, filling up the whole place, and singing from the heart in unity, and in wonderful songs of praise and worship to our dear GOD...

Wah, so awesome lor... Imagine what a beautiful spectacle it must be! Wah, can almost feel the power! When I think of this image, what comes to my mind is part of Matthew 16:18 "... and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it"

Amen to Romans 8:38-39! :)

Oh yah, my schedule is still alright... Not as busy as you really... erm, in the sense of work la... Not as busy as a lot of you... But I do spend a lot of time thinking, pondering, asking, questioning, wondering about a zillion of things... To myself and to GOD... hahahaha...

Yesterday, I spent a great time committing my new year to GOD... Its going to be exciting! Coz there are so many prayer requests that I have, which I translate as many opportunities to see GOD work in my life and the people around me...

I'm sure GOD is going to work in such an amazing and intimate way in our lives that we will be even stronger and tougher in the spirit, not becaus ewe are able but because GOD is with us :)

Gambatte brother! Though in Matthew 16:18-19, JESUS was speaking to Simon Peter, but I'm sure GOD knows HE would be "knitting" a great Peter, the son of Uncle Neoh that would be living in this century too! So... go claim it brother :)

And gambatte, to all of you who might be reading this too, in the name of JESUS, amen!! :)

That's sweet! Me also want to hear the song! Cheng, send me lei..:)

Worship to me has its beauty too, it heals me of the deepest most hurts and anxiety and just draws me back to the beauty of God in my life. Music is powerful.

God has created us to worship Him also through music and its wonderful how a simple melody or words in the song can actually pull your heartstrings and bring you back to the ultimate Creator.

Many times i struggle with bad times, and when i sing certain songs, the Spirit of the Lord seem to rest so sweetly around me and I am once again assured that He's near.

Heaven is going to be a wonderful place Sandy! Imagine wor, everyday praising and worshipping God!..It would be the most beautiful song that we have ever heard!

Just finished a round of calling up all the schools in my neighbourhood..feels like the old times again when i keep calling the schools to offer my relief teaching experiences. Gonna either read later or play on the guitar and violin.

A break is good.

Make you focus back on God and keeps your perspectives straight..
Hope that this year will be one which is more impactful than last year.:)

I pray all the best for both for you too!
